McSweeney & Ricci Serves Dinner at Father Bill’s

On Monday, November 30th McSweeney & Ricci employees volunteered their time to provide, prepare and serve dinner at Father Bill’s Place, a homeless shelter in Quincy, MA.

Several of the agencies’ employees signed up to cook a main dish of hearty Jambalaya, tossed salad and home made cupcakes, which were dropped off to the shelter earlier in the day. Later that evening, seven employees including the President of McSweeney & Ricci, Mary Lou Leary, returned to Father Bill’s to serve the dinner to the shelter’s 150+ clients.

Everyone involved enjoyed the experience and is looking forward to participating in March 2010, when the agency has again volunteered to cook and serve dinner.

Leary stated, “McSweeney & Ricci consistently strives to give back to the community in any way possible. Whether it be sponsoring a golf tournament to fund sessions of In Control Advanced Driver Training for South Shore high school students, providing college scholarships for local teens, donating gifts to the Marge Crispen Center at Christmas time, or donating 300 pumpkins to the Family Day & Pumpkin Festival at Pond Meadow Park in Braintree each Fall, we feel that now more than ever, it’s important to be involved, to show compassion and to give generously whenever you can.”
