McSweeney & Ricci Spreads Holiday Cheer
Each year, McSweeney & Ricci participates in the Adopt A Family Program through the Marge Crispen Center in Braintree. Through the program, McSweeney & Ricci “adopts” families who are financially struggling and are in need of help during the holiday season.
In today’s tough economy, the Center received more requests for assistance than ever before. McSweeney & Ricci adopted four families and employees purchased gifts off the wish lists of 12 children, wrapped the gifts and delivered them to the Center in time for their holiday distribution on December 18th. McSweeney & Ricci employees generously purchased new bicycles, video gaming systems, digital cameras, clothes, books, board games, and gift certificates for the children, and household items and gift certificates for some of the parents. President Mary Lou Leary said, "It warms our hearts to help support the Braintree Community in this way. We enjoy being able to provide a wonderful holiday for children in need."
