Softball Throwdown
On Wednesday, August 26th at 5:30 PM the McSweeney & Ricci Loss Runs competed against Rogers & Gray Loss Prevention in the first annual Softball Throwdown at Stephen’s Field in Plymouth. The teams were comprised of employees from each agency and Peerless Insurance Company, Narragansett Bay Insurance Company, and One Beacon Insurance generously sponsored the team tee-shirts, food during the event, and the trophy. Employees and friends from each agency came out to support their team, enjoy the beautiful weather, and the hamburger/hot dog lunch.

McSweeney & Ricci was victorious with a 5 to 1 win. Three McSweeney & Ricci employees, Sales Executive-Lou Ricci Jr., Account Manager-Earl McKinney, and Sales Executive and Vice President of Business Development- Paul Marks were named All Stars of the game and were treated to a visit to McCoy Stadium, home of the Pawtucket Red Sox on Thursday, September 10th courtesy of Narragansett Bay Insurance Company. The guys participated in batting practice, pitching practice off the mound and a ball-park lunch.

Both teams are looking forward to making the Softball Throwdown an annual event to be held in August or September.
