Teeing It Up for Teen Safety

McSweeney & Ricci Sponsors 2nd Annual Driving to Save Lives Golf Classic

For the second year in a row, McSweeney & Ricci sponsored the Driving to Save Lives Golf Classic to benefit In Control Advanced Driver Training. The tournament was held at Hatherly Country Club in North Scituate on Monday, June 8th.
 
Ninety-five golfers participated along with our generous sponsors and helped to raise over $14,000. All proceeds from the event will benefit South Shore teens to attend a session of In Control Advanced Driver Training. The tournament will be held on an annual basis, with participation open to all McSweeney & Ricci clients.

In Control is a 4 ½ hour, defensive driver training program, designed to teach drivers the appropriate way to respond to unavoidable, real-life road situations.

Proceeds from last years tournament made it possible for us to sponsor training for over 200 teens from the South Shore. Our goal is to train as many students as possible in an effort to improve driving safety among teens.
